Safeline is recruiting an Early Intervention Coordinator for its Primary and Secondary School programmes.

Location: Warwickshire
Salary: £27,500 per annum.
Hours: 37.5 hours across 5 days a week (We will consider part-time hours for a suitable candidate).

The Role:

At Safeline, our teams help children and young people affected by sexual abuse – or who are at risk – to it to recover and reach their full potential. All whilst keeping themselves and others safe. Our Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) programmes range from our ground-breaking one-to-one Safer Relationships programmes to our life-changing prevention courses designed to change abusive behaviours; as well as projects dedicated to improving mental health and self-esteem.

PEI Client

The need to protect children and young people is greater than it has ever been and as a result, the demand for our prevention programmes has increased dramatically. We are looking to recruit an Early Intervention Coordinator to join our PEI Team and help us to deliver schemes in primary and secondary schools.

As a Early Intervention Co-ordinator for Safeline’s PEI service, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the coordination and delivery of our programmes.

The candidate should:

  • Be client-focused with at least two-years experience of positively supporting vulnerable children and young people on a one-to-one basis;
  • Have strong leadership communication and organisational skills;
  • Have a detailed knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • Have either a degree or equivalent experience (around three years) in working with young people. This experience could be in teaching, mentoring, or youth work.
  • Have a full driving license and access to a vehicle.
