The TCS London Marathon 2025 is just over six months away and we are delighted to share that we have three runners participating in it. Two selected Safeline as their charity after securing a ballot place. The other was chosen by the Safeline team as our official runner following a competitive application process. We’re very excited to cheer them on on the day, but also to introduce you to them!

Hi, I’m Sam.

I’m a MMath(Hons) Mathematics graduate from Nottingham Trent University and I’m currently working as a Trainee Accountant at UHY Hacker Young. I am also one of 17,000 who got a place in the 2025 London Marathon through the ballot.

Safeline is a charity that I have been supporting for the past few years now. Sexual abuse is a topic that is very rarely talked about by people and the media. In the odd time it is brought up, people seem to shy away from actually talking about what happens and the effects.

It wasn’t until I found out about Safeline that I realised how common sexual abuse really is. It does not discriminate between gender, race or culture, and most likely someone you know has gone through some form of sexual abuse in their lifetime.

Safeline has supported over 100,000 people since it was founded. I sadly know people who have used their services – people affected by sexual abuse – but I am relieved that Safeline exists to help them.

I am hoping that my fundraising can help raise awareness, prevent the abuse and support those that have gone through it.

That’s why I’m running in the London Marathon 2025 for Safeline.

How can you support Sam?

First and foremost, donate to his Enthuse page. Sam is taking on this huge challenge to raise vital funds to help survivors of sexual abuse in their recovery!

Follow his training journey on social media! It’s his first marathon and we want to cheer him on every step of the way.
