People sat in a pub answering quiz questions.

Last night, Warwick’s Old Coffee Tavern hosted a Christmas Quiz for Safeline. It was completely sold out with 17 teams competing and together we raised more than £600 for Safeline.

We are incredibly grateful to the Coffee Tavern for hosting the event and to Darren, the quizmaster and Joe and all the staff who made everyone feel so welcome

We are so grateful to the wonderful Alex Pearson, Community Champion at Morrisons Leamington for donating the prizes for the winners (and the losers) and to Melissa from Tescos Coventry Crosspoint for donating the Mince Pies.

The Old Coffee Tavern donated a one night stay to the winners of our Sweepstake question which was: “In what year did the renaissance painter Artemisia Geniteschi successfully prosecute her rapist” Congratulations to the Coventry Building Society Team who won. Thank you also to NVHer of Warwick who donated a lovely bag of goodies for the second prize.

We are already talking about our next quiz and have sent round a survey to everyone who came last night to get your feedback on our questions, sweepstake and how we could improve. Thank you for listening to our facts about sexual violence, and above all thank you everyone for your donations, laughter and support.
