Last year young people attended our art project and peer support group to create some exceptional artwork which is being exhibited at East Lodge Gallery Jephson Gardens Leamington Spa until 29th January. The exhibition is open Thursday – Sunday 11 am – 3pm

The project provided a creative and therapeutic environment to allow young people to express their emotions through art and photography. Over the project participants utilised a range of different methods including felting, alcohol inks, enamelling, and acrylic paints. The participants immersed themselves in the creative process from planning their design idea to seeing their end pieces come into fruition which can be seen within the exhibition. The art project had a phenomenal positive impact on their mental well-being, confidence, and self-esteem.

The project has made me feel more confident and happier. It helped me try new stuff. I feel safe here at the project
