Safeline is a Warwickshire based, leading specialist sexual abuse and rape charity. We support women, men and young people who have been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect those at risk, and we find ways to prevent abuse from ever happening. We have been protecting and supporting people affected by sexual abuse and rape since 1994 and we intend to continue this vital work for many years to come because the need for organisations like ours has never been greater.

To help achieve this goal, we are looking to recruit a Children’s Independent Sexual Violence Advocate (ChISVA).  The role is to provide practical and emotional support to the children and families we work with to help them feel safe and enable them to move on from their lived experience enabling them to reclaim power and control in their lives.

They will work alongside our friendly and supportive ISVA team within an award-winning ISVA department and will be an integral member of the wider Safeline team.  They will be accountable for assessing the needs of victims of sexual abuse and their families, developing, and implementing individual client support plans and providing on-going face to face and telephone support to clients and their supporters.  For those clients who choose to report a crime, the ChISVA will support them through the criminal justice system from reporting to court and beyond. They will be accountable for building and maintaining positive and highly effective working relationships with key partner agencies including the police and CPS.
