Safeline’s CHISVA team attend multi-agency CPD event focussed on Child Abuse, Trafficking and Exploitation

March marks the establishment of the Child Abuse, Trafficking, and Exploitation (CATE) Team, a crucial step in strengthening responses to protect vulnerable children and young people. Since its launch, CATE has played a vital role in identifying risks and working collaboratively to disrupt harm.

Yesterday our chISVA team attended a vital multi-agency CPD event focused on Child Abuse, Trafficking, and Exploitation.

The event brought together professionals from various sectors to strengthen collaboration, share expertise, and enhance our collective response to these critical issues in our community.

Our ISVAs and ChISVAs play a key role in supporting survivors and multi-agency working is essential. Events like this ensure we continue providing informed, survivor-centred advocacy while working alongside police and other key partners.
