My friend, the survivor

I’ve known my friend for several years, and I’ve seen him through some of his darkest moments. There have been times when simply getting through the day felt like a huge challenge, so seeing where he is now is amazing.

Safeline has been a true lifeline for my friend. As a friend, it has been a real joy to see him begin to find hope and purpose again – trying new things, stepping outside his comfort zone and challenging himself to do things he wouldn’t have had the headspace or confidence to consider a year ago.

Services like Safeline are so so important for men like him. Having a safe space where there are people who understand and support you without judgement can make a huge difference.

I’m incredibly grateful that Safeline has been there for him. It has helped him find hope, rediscover his strength and start believing that there is a future worth carrying on for.
