A long career at Director level in the NHS masked a troubled childhood.

When Dave retired he was left feeling confused and unable to make any sense of his life and how he had managed to mask the trauma of sexual, physical and psychological abuse.

Via therapy Dave has managed to gain a sense of purpose and a passion to help men disclose sexual abuse and seek professional support.

Dave is enthusiastically supporting Safeline’s commercial activities as well as developing social media support to ease men into accepting they don’t have to cope alone with the abuse they were subjected to.
