Linda Scott has a distinguished background in promoting engineering and technology careers Her leadership roles span over two decades.
From 2000 to 2011, she served as the Chief Executive of The Arkwright Scholarship Trust, where she was responsible for securing funding and managing the charity. The charity awarded 300 scholarships annually to Year 11 students across 650 schools.
Prior to this, Linda was the National Director of The Engineering Education Scheme, part of The Royal Academy of Engineering’s Best programme. There, she successfully matched student teams with industry mentors to solve real engineering challenges – impacting 5,000 young people.
In recognition of her significant contributions, Linda received an OBE in 2006 for services to Engineering and Technology Education. She is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a Member of the Industrial Affiliates Network, and the Worshipful Company of Educators.
