The countdown to TCS London Marathon 2026 has started and our two runners are raring to get their feet onto the London roads. Help cheer them on with us.
Running the London Marathon for Safeline feels almost unbelievable. I only started running in April 2025, and before then I never saw myself as a runner. What began as a simple decision to try something new quickly turned into something I genuinely love. Each run pushed me out of my comfort zone and showed me just how powerful consistency and determination can be.
In June 2025, just two months after I started, I completed the Leamington Spa Half Marathon. Standing on that start line felt daunting, but crossing the finish line was one of my proudest moments. It proved to me that I was capable of far more than I had ever imagined. Since then, my love for running has only grown. Running has become a way to clear my head, build confidence, and challenge myself both physically and mentally.
Running the London Marathon for Safeline makes this journey even more meaningful. Safeline does vital work supporting people affected by abuse, helping survivors find safety, strength, and hope. Knowing that every mile I run helps raise awareness and funds for such an important cause gives this challenge a much deeper purpose.
I still can’t quite believe that I will be running the London Marathon. From starting to run in April, to completing a half marathon in June, to now taking on 26.2 miles it feels surreal. This marathon represents personal growth, newfound passion, and doing something that once felt impossible, all while supporting a charity that truly changes lives
