This five-hour, in-person training session is delivered by two highly experienced counsellors from Safeline, an organisation with more than 30 years’ experience supporting survivors of sexual harm and abuse.
Designed for anyone in a client, or customer-facing role, this course recognises that many people, approximately 1 in 4 women and 1 in 5 men, have experienced sexual harm and may be affected or triggered during vulnerable or stressful situations.
The training provides practical, compassionate guidance on how to respond appropriately and sensitively to survivors, while also highlighting the importance of maintaining personal wellbeing. By increasing confidence, understanding and awareness, delegates will be better equipped to offer informed support and make a positive difference to those they encounter.
This session is suitable for anyone who may come into contact with individuals who have experienced sexual harm, particularly in roles where people may feel vulnerable, distressed or triggered.
