About the Training

Recognising and Coping with Vicarious Trauma Training is a practical, trauma-informed workshop designed for professionals and volunteers who regularly support people affected by trauma.

Delivered by Safeline’s experienced trauma-informed counsellors, this engaging in-person session will help participants understand the impact of vicarious trauma and develop effective strategies to maintain emotional wellbeing and professional resilience.

Who is this Training For?

The training is ideal for counsellors, therapists, advocates, social workers, safeguarding professionals, healthcare staff, educators, charity workers, and anyone whose role involves supporting individuals who have experienced traumatic events.

How long is the Training?

Training is 2/1/2 hours and includes a Question and Answer session.

 

I thought it was really well delivered, the presenters were engaging and made the session really interactive. I enjoyed the reflection activities, and we had some good discussions.
