Behind every statistic in our latest Impact Report is a person who reached out for support, often at one of the most difficult times in their life.
Today, we’re sharing Safeline’s 2025/26 Impact Report, reflecting on a year that brought significant challenges, growing demand, and extraordinary achievements across our services.
As demand for support increased by 27%, our teams continued to provide specialist services to survivors, children and young people, families, and communities across Warwickshire and nationally.
The 2025 – 2026 financial year was not without its difficulties.
Like many organisations in the sexual violence sector, Safeline faced rising costs, increased demand, and funding uncertainty. We also witnessed growing complexity in the needs of the people accessing support.
Yet thanks to the commitment of our staff, volunteers, trustees, supporters, and funders, we continued to deliver support where it was needed most.
In his introduction to the report, Safeline CEO Neil Henderson reflects on what it took to maintain services during what he describes as a “perfect storm” of pressures facing the sector.
The report highlights the reach and impact of Safeline’s work over the past year, but it is the stories behind the numbers that stay with us.
Throughout the report, survivors and service users share their experiences of counselling, advocacy, prevention work, and helpline support. Demonstrating why specialist sexual abuse services are essential.
You’ll also find insights into the challenges survivors face, including increasing demand for support services and lengthy waits within the criminal justice system.
Everything achieved between April 2025 and March 2026 was made possible by the people who place their trust in us. The professionals who work alongside us, and the supporters who continue to champion our mission.
To everyone who helped make this work possible: thank you.
Our 2025/26 Impact Report contains service highlights, survivor stories, key achievements, and insights into the challenges. As well as challenges facing the sexual abuse support sector.
