Safeline Celebrates Success at the Helplines Partnership Awards 2025

The Helplines Partnership held their annual conference and awards in Manchester on Thursday 6th November 2025, bringing together organisations across the UK that provide vital listening and support services.

Safeline’s CEO, Neil Henderson, spoke as part of a panel discussion on “How to Build Resilience and Continue to Grow During Uncertain Times.” The conversation explored the ongoing challenges that helplines face, including the impact of funding uncertainty on service delivery and sustainability. Our CEO highlighted how Safeline’s National Male Survivor Helpline has continued to meet rising demand for specialist support, despite these financial pressures.

Even in the face of funding difficulties, our Helpline Team works tirelessly to provide trauma-informed, life-changing support to survivors of sexual abuse and those who support them.

We are proud to share that Dan, a Senior Advisor on the Helpline Team, was awarded Employee of the Year at the 2025 Helplines Partnership Awards. This national recognition celebrates his compassion, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to men and boys who turn to Safeline for help.

Safeline remains deeply committed to ensuring that every survivor has access to the specialist support they deserve. We are immensely proud of our Helpline Team and grateful to the Helplines Partnership for recognising their dedication and the essential role helplines play across the UK.
