Earlier this year, the helpline faced closure after government funding from was unexpectedly withdrawn. In response, Safeline launched a nationwide campaign to save the service—mobilising survivors, supporters, and advocates to speak out. Channel 4 and the BBC covered the story and spoke to helpline users for their perspective. Thanks to their coverage and public support, the helpline was kept open, continuing to provide vital emotional and practical support to thousands of men and boys.
