Your support changes lives

I want to fundraise for Safeline, what can I do?

First things first, thank you for choosing to support us! Your fundraising will help many survivors access life-saving support.

The world is your oyster when it comes to fundraising – so long as you keep yourself safe. Check out our fundraising pack for ideas or read what some of our previous fundraisers have done.

I’ve decided what I want to do, how do I start?

Amazing! We’re so excited to see your ideas come to life. Make sure to let us know either by social media or our email fundraising@safeline.org.uk.

Our Development Team are here to support you every step of the way.

How do I promote what I’m doing?

There are multiple ways to promote your fundraising challenge – both online and in the real world.

Social media can be your ally to reach friends, family, and even new supporters. Just be mindful of what information you are comfortable with sharing online.

Posters in noticeboards, shops, local businesses, and more can also help you reach people who may not gravitate towards the internet.

Be creative!

What about the money itself?

Like promoting your fundraising, raising money can be done both on and offline.

JustGiving is great for quick and secure fundraising online. All you have to do is set up a page and share the link.

If you’ve fundraised offline, you can pay in via bank transfer or cheque. Email fundraising@safeline.org.uk for more details.

Running the London Marathon 2024

Gabriel Henderson successfully completed the London Marathon in an impressive time of 3 hours, 29 minutes, and 1 second in aid of Safeline.

After months of dedicated training and fundraising, he surpassed his initial target of £2500, raising an incredible £6,593 to support survivors of sexual abuse accessing our services.  Special thanks also go to Howden Insurance Brokers Limited for their generous £750 donation toward his total.

Considering this is my first time fundraising on my own, it would be a huge achievement to reach this goal and hopefully I can get it done!

Between Stations Walk

On Friday 8th November 2024, Chiltern Railways colleagues Rehana and Laura completed their 13th and final walk of the Between Stations Walk challenge, raising £2,000 for Safeline and Railway Children. Starting in February 2024, the duo covered 156 miles over 13 walks, visiting 27 stations along the Chiltern Main Line from London Marylebone to Birmingham Moor Street.

Their journey began with a walk between London Marylebone and Wembley Stadium and concluded on the 8th, with the stretch from Dorridge to Birmingham Moor Street. Their efforts were supported by a £250 donation from Chiltern’s Community Fund, showcasing incredible teamwork and dedication to important causes.

We have a great time and there was loads of time for chatting and laughing.
