Liz Harrison

Liz brings an array of experience and skills from her previous career in academic research to her role as the Head of National Helpline and Online Services.  As a qualified trauma-informed psychotherapist, she has managed Safeline’s two National Services since 2016:

• The National Telephone and Online Counselling Service for survivors of childhood sexual abuse and for those who support them, offering telephone, video, instant messaging and email therapy.
• The National Male Helpline and Online Support Service for people of all ages who identify as male survivors of sexual abuse and for those who support a male survivor.
