As the Prevention and Early Intervention Manager for Secondary Schools and Deputy Manager of the Prevention and Early Intervention Team, you will lead the delivery of trauma-informed services within secondary schools across Warwickshire while supporting the strategic and operational leadership of the wider service. You will deputise for the Head of Prevention and Early Intervention, provide leadership and supervision to staff, contribute to service development, and help ensure the achievement of organisational and contractual objectives.
You will lead Project Coordinators delivering trauma-informed interventions to children and young people across Warwickshire who have experienced sexual abuse or are vulnerable to harm. As part of Safeline’s Prevention and Early Intervention Team, you will champion safe, high-quality practice and help drive positive outcomes for children and families. You will oversee specialist projects, manage a small caseload, and deliver tailored education and intervention programmes for young people, parents and professionals to prevent abuse, reduce risk and support recovery. You will also build and maintain effective partnerships, support and develop staff, achieve project outcomes, and help shape services that safeguard children and improve their wellbeing.

Head of Prevention and Early Intervention
Full Time 37.5 hours per week, 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday (some evening work may be required).
Office Based in Warwick and covering Warwickshire & travel (Hybrid home/ office working will be considered based on service needs).
Provide professional, motivational and supportive leadership to a team of Project Coordinators to successfully deliver effective Prevention and Early Intervention support to sexually abused and vulnerable children and young people, across Warwickshire.
Responsible for ensuring Safeguarding policies and procedures are fully complied with.
Build positive, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders that are essential in helping to protect and support vulnerable children and young people.
Work with the Head of Prevention and Early Intervention, and other direct reports, to create and deliver a strategy that will keep Warwickshire children and young people safe, free from trauma and empower them to thrive.
Manage a small caseload of children and young people and delivering a range of interventions to them.
Capture and analyse a wide range of data to help drive continuous improvement, inform policy and practice, support income generation.
Invest in personal development to improve your own performance, the performance of the team and the organisation.
Work with other Safeline services to ensure all the needs of vulnerable children and young people are met.
Cover for the Head of Service when required.
