We have a Receptionist Counselling administrator vacancy at Safeline.  This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Safeline team.

    Delivering Safeline’s front of house service and providing administrative support to our friendly Counselling Team to enable Safeline to support more survivors of sexual abuse.

  • Remuneration

    £12,064 per annum (£23,810 FTE) plus 25 days (FTE) paid holiday + public holidays pro-rata plus a birthday concessionary day. Incremental annual leave after 5 years of service. Matched contribution pension scheme up to 5% of gross salary. CPD opportunities

  • Hours

    This is a part-time position working 2.5 days a week (19 hours), Wednesday 9am to 1pm, Thursday and Friday 9am to 5pm

  • Personal Qualities and Skills

    You will be an empathetic, non-judgemental and compassionate attitude and a genuine desire to support those affected by rape or sexual abuse. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating an ability to convey warmth, sensitivity and professionalism towards all visitors, building good working relationships, whilst maintaining boundaries and Safeline’s high standards of service.

Operating Safeline’s front of house service, including answering incoming telephone calls and office email enquiries, being a friendly, welcoming face to clients, counsellors and other visitors on arrival and fielding messages to colleagues accordingly.

Carrying out client related administration including processing new client files, ongoing management of computerised client files through our CRM system, actioning appointment related communications including issuing letters, responding to appointment related queries, processing new referrals to the service, closing client files, archiving, client file auditing, preparing assessment packs and supporting staff and face to face counsellors in providing services.

Supporting with the smooth daily running of Safeline’s counselling service. You will also be responsible for ensuring the buildings are open ready for the day’s counselling appointments and closed at the end of the day.

Managing the daily appointment booking system in an effective and efficient manner, including processing cancellations and informing colleagues of re-arrangement needs.
