Our ISVAs joined a day of creativity and connection at the University of Warwick’s event on wellbeing and mental health.
Safeline’s Independent Sexual Violence Advocates (ISVAs) were proud to attend the University of Warwick’s Words 4 Wellbeing event. It was an open and inclusive drop-in for students, staff, community members and invited guests.
This inspiring event centred on creativity, empathy, and collaboration. Aiming to reshape how emotional wellbeing and mental health are approached in academic and wider community spaces.
As frontline advocates supporting survivors of sexual abuse, our ISVAs were on hand to share Safeline’s trauma-informed services. While there, they also raised awareness about the ISVA role. Our team joined meaningful conversations on how creativity and safe dialogue can support recovery and resilience.
The day reflected the importance of holistic wellbeing in education and research environments. Safeline is proud to be part of efforts that prioritise not only survivor support but also community healing and preventative care.
We’d like to thank the University of Warwick and the organisers of Words 4 Wellbeing for welcoming us into this important space.
