Safeline delivered trauma-informed sexual harassment training to Nottingham Trent Students’ Union staff, promoting safer, more respectful workplaces.
On Monday 2nd June 2025, Head of Safeguarding Colin Walker and Prevention & Early Intervention Co-ordinator Jenny Cooke delivered our specialist workshop, ‘Preventing and Responding to Sexual Harassment in the Workplace’, to staff at Nottingham Trent Students’ Union (NTSU).
The session, designed to empower organisations to recognise, prevent, and respond to sexual harassment through a trauma-informed and victim-centred lens, was met with outstanding feedback from attendees.
Phil Kynaston, CEO of NTSU, praised the training, saying:
“Safeline delivered training to our staff team on protecting people from sexual harassment in the workforce. This training was informative and engaging, demonstrating how we can take a trauma informed, victim focused approach to dealing with sexual harassment in the workplace, university and society at large.”
Other participants echoed his sentiment, describing the session as:
“The people delivering the workshop were great. They were very confident and knowledgeable and encouraged questions. It was super informative, and I learnt a lot – thank you!”
“Very personable and professional and informative presenting. Impressive for such a serious and heavy content. I would not hesitate to reach out to Colin or Jenny in the future.”
At Safeline, we believe training should not only educate but inspire action. We’re proud to work with institutions like NTSU to build safer, more respectful workplaces – and we’re here to support others looking to do the same.
