Colin is a sexual abuse prevention and investigation specialist highly experienced in all aspects of safeguarding.
Currently Head of Safeguarding at Safeline, Colin was for the past 12 years Head of Prevention and Early Intervention, where he created, developed and delivered effective preventative interventions, providing trauma informed training to young people , adults and professionals.
Prior to joining Safeline, Colin served as a Police Detective for 25 years and specialised in the investigation of the most serious crimes including rape and serious sexual offences.
Highly commended for his investigative ability, Colin has also performed the role of Independent Sexual Violence Advocate supporting survivors of sexual abuse through the justice system.
