Safeline is proud to have been supported by Ikigai’s Japandi Festival, a unique celebration of Japanese and Scandinavian cultures that took place at Warwick Hall on Sunday, 8th December 2024. This incredible event, organised by Leamington Spa-based independent shop Ikigai, brought together a diverse range of small businesses and cultural experiences—all while raising vital funds for our work supporting survivors of sexual abuse.
The festival, Warwickshire’s only Japandi market, featured an array of handpicked traders, cultural demonstrations, and interactive activities, including a winter-themed colouring competition. Guests had the chance to explore Japanese-imported homeware, authentic Studio Ghibli merchandise, Scandinavian crafts, and more. All while enjoying delicious cultural treats and free activities for all ages. Warwick Town Council also supported the event, providing a grant towards its success.

A portion of every ticket sale was donated to Safeline, and the charity’s sale stall helped raise even more funds, bringing the total donation to an amazing £3,017. We are incredibly grateful for Ikigai’s continued support and for everyone who attended, making this event such a success.
Safeline relies on the generosity of businesses like Ikigai and communities who come together to make a difference. Thank you to everyone who helped create such a fantastic day—your support helps us continue our vital work.
